More from Ronald D. Moore

Ronald D. Moore

While Ron Moore is busy producing Battlestar Galactica and the upcoming prequel series Caprica for SciFi Channel, FOX has decided to get in on some of that sci-fi mojo. A new series from Moore called Virtuality (lame title) was just announced.

From Cynopsis:

FOX ordered a two-hour sci-fi pilot called Virtuality from Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica) and produced by Universal Media Studios.  Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun along with Ronald and Michael Taylor are executive producers. The plot is about 12 astronauts on a ten-year journey aboard the Earth’s first starship called the Phaeton. Also on board are virtual-reality modules giving the crew members a chance to be adventurous and take on different personas. All works fine until the virtual system is invaded by a mysterious bug. Production on Virtuality begins this July.

12 people on a ship for ten years. They better get some damn good actors for this one. Sounds interesting. Let’s hope the pilot goes to series and we’ll have a new space drama to drool over come fall!

  1. Ron could make a puppet show and I would watch it.
I really got to get a girlfriend or one of them there female Japanese robot workers of the future.
