You can’t keep a Shell Head down! reports that Andrew Cripps, President of Paramount Pictures International, announced at ShoWest’s International Day on Monday that Iron Man will be released Day-and-Date worldwide on April 30. What is unclear is whether that means North America will also get the movie two days earlier than the planned May 2 release. One thing to support that we will, is that Paramount is planning another Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull trailer for April, presumably with another Paramount movie, of which the biggest one would be Iron Man (if it indeed opens here on April 30.

You really have to wonder why they are pushing it up. There is no real competition, unless you count my birthday which is May 1st and will be a global event celebrated by millions and millions of people. Or just my mom.
