Terminator 4 Gets a Date

Warner Brothers has set a May 22, 2009, release date for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, starring Christian Bale. T4 begins production in May.

The film is the first part of a planned three-picture arc (schwing!) that begins after Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust. A group of survivors led by John Connor struggles to stop the machines.

I’m looking forward to seeing Christian Bale as John Connor, because it means we’ll finally see the John Connor of legend — not the whiney bitch I’ve come to loathe. With Bale in the lead and McG at the helm, I’m sure it will be leaps ahead of The Sarah Connor Chronicles — especially since we FINALLY get to see life after Judgement Day.
